Research Projects Coordinator
Sean is the Research Project Coordinator in the Department of Orthopedics at Denver Health Medical Center. In his current role, Sean takes the helm in managing clinical trials, ensuring their seamless execution. He handles the collection, coding, and analysis of data, all while being a dedicated manager of research initiatives within the orthopedic department.
With a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, a Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics from Illinois State University, and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a research focus in orthopedic biomechanics at the University of Denver, Sean's academic journey reflects his unwavering commitment to research and innovation. Sean’s research focuses on pushing the boundaries of current practices to improve patient care, enhancing postoperative function, and developing advanced technologies that benefit patients and their long-term health.
Beyond his work, Sean is a poster child for the Colorado lifestyle as he finds solace in the outdoors, frequently hiking with his loyal four-legged companion, Jake, in the summer and hitting the ski slopes in the winter. He's also a music enthusiast who enjoys attending concerts and embracing the rhythm of life beyond the lab
