Katya E. Strage, MD

Research Project Coordinator

Katya was born and raised in England, and Switzerland and moved with her family to the United States before high school. She continued on to Wake Forest University where she graduated with a degree in Health & Exercise Science. She received her medical degree from Texas A&M at Baylor Dallas where she graduated as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Society. She spent a year as an Obstetrics & Gynecology resident at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Realizing her passion was in Orthopaedics she is now taking a research year at the Denver Health Ortho trauma department before applying for an Orthopaedics residency. Her hobbies include, skiing, running, cycling, tennis and spending time with her family including her dog Bella.
