Orthopedic Podiatry Residency Program
Denver Health became the host for the Podiatry Residency program in the summer of 2022. The Podiatry team enrolls 9 residents, three are PGY-1, three PGY-2 and three PGY-3.
During the year, the residents rotate between the Denver Health, Veterans Affairs hospital in Aurora and other institutions around Colorado and the Front Range. Under the direction of the Podiatry attendings, the residents are hosts to visiting medical students.
The Podiatry department is lead by Dr. Kristine Hoffman, Director of Denver Health Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency, working along side with Dr. Morgan Jerabek and Dr. Matthew Gorski. The attendings host weekly academic sessions for the residents and visiting medical students. The residents are welcome to attend several Fracture Conferences along with a series of lectures/grand rounds
All Residents get operating room and clinic exposure under the direction of the attending physicians. Some of the conditions that are treated in the Podiatry department can include but not limited to:
