Lucas Verstegen
Administrative Director

Lucas was born and raised along with his younger brother in Madison, Wisconsin. Lucas went to the University of Wisconsin – Madison for undergrad where he majored in Industrial and Systems Engineering. After college, he moved to Denver to work for a consulting firm named Huron Consulting Group where he worked as an analyst on their Healthcare Revenue Cycle team. After working at Huron for a little less than two years, Lucas was hired on at Denver Health as a Business Analyst. Since starting at Denver Health, he has worked as a Business Analyst, Perioperative Operations Manager, and now an Administrative Director supporting Orthopedics, OB/GYN, and Inpatient Pediatrics. Also, during his time at Denver Health, he received an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado – Denver. In his free time he enjoys reading (currently scifi), skiing, traveling, yoga, and playing soccer. One fun fact about Lucas is that his friends from growing up calls him Luke, but most people in Denver call him Lucas, which is not confusing at all for his girlfriend.
