As Colorado’s primary safety net institution, Denver Health provides billions of dollars in uncompensated care.  Denver Health integrates acute hospital and emergency care with public and community health to deliver preventive, primary and acute care services. Denver Health’s acute care hospital is an adult Level I and Pediatric Level II trauma center with 525-licensed beds which is one of the state’s busiest hospitals with more than 25,0000 admissions annually.

 

Josh is accountable for the administrative management of clinical operations, strategic planning, provider relations, and financial management for the Department of Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Previously, Josh was the manager of Cardiovascular Services were he was responsible for hiring, quality & process improvement, finance management, capital procurement, and business development.

 

Josh’s business acumen is complimented with over a decade of clinical experience. He originally entered the health care industry as a Radiographer with a special interest in invasive procedures. Since then he has grown his clinical capacity to include endovascular neurologic intervention, endovascular aortic repair, peripheral limb salvage, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and implantable cardiac rhythm management.

 

Josh holds a BS in Health Care Management with an emphasis in Health Informatics from Colorado Technical University and was awarded Summa Cum Laude. He then received his MBA in Healthcare Administration at University of Colorado in Denver. He and his wife; Margeaux moved to Colorado in 2012, in their free time they enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and exploring the great outdoors.
