Percutaneous Surgery • Navigation • Robotics
Advanced, hands-on pelvic and acetabular education for orthopedic trauma surgeons and fellows.
Complimentary Registration • Hotel + Meals Included • Highly Limited Enrollment
About the Summit
The Denver Pelvic Summit is an immersive, two-day educational experience designed for orthopedic trauma surgeons and fellows seeking to advance their skills in pelvic and acetabular surgery.
The 2026 inaugural Summit brought together 24 orthopedic surgeons and fellows from across the United States and around the world for intensive cadaveric training in percutaneous fixation, advanced imaging and navigation.
In 2027, the Summit builds on that foundation with an expanded focus on percutaneous surgery, navigation and robotics. Participants will progress from fluoroscopic and navigated corridor identification and wire placement to robotic applications and minimally invasive reduction of anterior pelvic ring injuries.
With intentionally limited enrollment and extensive hands-on laboratory time, the Summit is designed to maximize direct faculty interaction, technical practice, discussion and collaborative learning.
Why Denver Pelvic Summit?
Intentionally small. Intensively hands-on. Built for surgeons.
The Denver Pelvic Summit is designed around active participation rather than observation. Limited enrollment allows participants to spend meaningful time in the cadaveric lab, work directly with faculty, compare technologies firsthand and discuss the real-world technical challenges of pelvic and acetabular surgery.
Who Should Attend?
-
Orthopedic trauma surgeons
-
Orthopedic trauma fellows
-
Orthopedic surgeons with a focused interest in pelvic and acetabular trauma
-
Surgeons seeking advanced experience in percutaneous fixation, navigation, robotics and minimally invasive pelvic surgery
What Should I Expect to Learn?
Percutaneous Surgery
-
Identify and safely access posterior-ring, anterior-ring and acetabular osseous corridors
-
Refine fluoroscopic imaging, starting points and percutaneous wire trajectories
-
Apply progressive minimally invasive techniques for anterior pelvic ring reduction
-
Recognize technical errors and determine when escalation to a limited-open or open approach is appropriate
Navigation + 3D Imaging
-
Compare fluoroscopy, navigation and 3D imaging for pelvic and acetabular procedures
-
Plan and execute navigated trajectories
-
Independently confirm wire and implant position
-
Recognize navigation error, inaccurate trajectories and potential cortical breaches
Robotics
-
Understand robotic setup, registration, calibration and trajectory planning
-
Perform robotic-assisted pelvic and acetabular wire placement
-
Recognize skiving, pelvic motion, reference-array displacement and registration error
-
Understand when conversion to navigation or conventional fluoroscopy is appropriate
The course concludes with an endoscopic-assisted acetabular surgery demonstration exploring emerging applications for visualization and minimally invasive fracture care.
Research + Collaboration
The 2027 Denver Pelvic Summit will feature a Research Poster Tour, bringing research directly into the course experience.
Participants will have opportunities to explore current pelvic and acetabular research, hear brief investigator presentations, discuss ongoing multicenter projects and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
Share Your Research!
Poster submission opens November 1, 2026. Selected submissions will be featured during the Research Poster Tour, with authors invited to present their research and engage directly with Summit faculty and participants.

Complimentary Registration
There is no registration fee for accepted participants. Complimentary registration includes course participation, cadaveric laboratory access, hotel accommodations, course meals, happy hour and the faculty/participant dinner. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own airfare to Denver.
Highly Limited Enrollment
To preserve the hands-on, faculty-intensive course experience, enrollment is intentionally limited. Submitting an attendance request does not confirm registration. We will contact you within 48 hours regarding availability. If we are able to accommodate your request, your place will be held for 72 hours while you arrange travel. Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of proof of purchased airfare.
